Defined broadly, our political tilt is fiscally conservative and socially liberal. As popular as this characterization has become, it is important to define more specifically our exact stance. On the following issues, our views are commensurate with conservatives:

- Welfare reform
- Social security reform (including private individual accounts)
- A strong system of national defense
- The war on terrorism
- Second Amendment protection
- Tort reform and the legal reduction of frivolous lawsuits
- Private school vouchers and other decentralization of educational control
- An end to affirmative action and other forms of institutionalized racism

- Marijuana decriminalization
- Balanced budget and an avoidance of federal deficits
- Strong separation of church and state
