The Prometheus Institute would like to congratulate you on the recent leaking of your proprietary HD DVD encryption key. By giving the key away to an inside accomplice in academia and having him post it on his official web site, you were able to claim the source of the leak was not internal. Bravo. You also gave the key away to a well respected member of the Computer Science community to further assist your clandestine plot. A touch of genius, no doubt. (and I try to use that word sparingly)
Now that the key has been leaked to every single computer nerd in the universe (and even tattooed on this idiot's arm), your HD DVD technology is sure to pound Sony's Blu-Ray format into oblivion. The choice between renting a movie one can copy and renting a movie that doesn't is no choice at all. Again, the Prometheus Institute salutes you for your marketing genius.
Now all you have to do is sit back and watch the orders start pouring in. The only obstacle in your way is Sony's marketing team. If they figure out the best route to a nerds heart is through his seemingly God-given aptness for pirating software, watch out. I would have another encryption key already on an e-mail draft to The Pirate Bay just in-case.
